Exalted Ruler Message

Greetings Brother and Sister Elks:

It is my honor and privilege to represent you and our Lodge as your Exalted Ruler for the upcoming 2026-2027 Lodge year. I wish to thank all the incoming Officers for representing our Lodge in these significant positions.

Our Lodge is indebted to Exalted Ruler Christopher Petrella for his dedication and exemplary service to NHP-NS. Chris provided strong and steady leadership the past four Lodge years. I wish to express gratitude to all of the outstanding officers that served our Lodge this past year. Your service is a testament to your commitment to our members and the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks.

Each outgoing and incoming Officer and Trustee sacrifices their personal time for the benefit of our members. They lead by example and should be commended for serving our Lodge and taking on these important roles. Now that Spring has arrived, I invite each member to

renew their pledge to being an Elk. Please consider attending a meeting, joining a committee, sponsoring a new member or volunteering to support one of the many worthwhile Elk sponsored charitable works projects. Charity is at the very foundation of our 

Order. 

Mother’s Day is celebrated on May 10th. We are  forever grateful to our Mothers, Grandmothers, Wives, Aunts, and Sisters for the love and grace they have given us throughout our lives. Happy Mother’s Day to all.

May the principles of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love, and Fidelity guide each of us in all that we do.
