Built in 1926, The Elk National Memorial was created to honor the Elk soldiers who fought in WW1. Over th3e years the Memorial cope expanded as the country confronted subsequent conflicts and wars. Today this Memorial stands as an evolving commitment to remembrance that extends beyond and conflict or generation.
